For the second installment of our Capsule Collections we asked internationally recognized artist, Clare Rojas, known for her geometric narratives, to create a bold pattern for our iconic oxford, The WIT. It was Rojas’ distinct point of view, often exploring gender roles while quietly celebrating the traditional strengths of women, that initially sparked our interest. We knew that the next chapter of FRĒDA’s story would be a pattern, and thought Rojas was the perfect fit. We love how she so vividly captured the spirit of our FRĒDA Girl in colors that embody our brand and we haven’t used in leather, but in a print on canvas, they worked beautifully. They are both bold and understated, which we love.
To celebrate the collaboration we hosted an intimate brunch at enchanting Blue Water Ranch located in the coastal town of Bolinas, CA. The afternoon affair, co-hosted by S.F. style maven Lauren Goodman and art consultant Sabrina Buell, brought together a mix of tastemakers and friends including Claudia Ceniceros and Yvonne Force Villareall. Special thanks to Natalie Bowen Designs for the exceptional florals and Miel Cooking for the unbelievably delicious meal.
