Our next FRĒDA Girl is Erica Chan Coffman, co-founder of fashion/lifestyle blog Honestly WTF. Upon launching FRĒDA, we reached out to Erica almost immediately because we wanted her to to know about our brand. To us, Honestly WTF is the Holy Grail of fashion blogs because the content is so unique (and visually stunning). It is there we found ourselves time and time again discovering the next cool brands. Honestly WTF is a powerful platform, reaching millions, so we appreciate so much that Erica is a true supporter of emerging designers. Over the years, Erica has become a friend and we still count on her to give us the scoop of what is going on in the world of fashion and design. She is one of those people that exudes amazing personal style, so anything that hits her radar, we want to know about!

FREDA GIRL Q+A
What do you love most about your career?
I feel so fortunate to be able to connect with such inspiring and impassioned artists, designers, and artisans on a daily basis. I also love how my work is constantly evolving and changing – every day stimulates me with something different and compelling.
When you hear the word STYLE – who or what is the first thing that comes to mind?
For me, great style is all about taking risks, feeling comfortable and most importantly, exuding confidence.
What’s inspiring you right now?
I’ve just recently taken up pottery, which is something that I’ve been wanting to learn for years! Taking a 3 hour block out of my weekly schedule, to throw clay on a wheel and actually make something beautifully functional, has been meditative, challenging and absolutely inspiring. I’m obsessed!
When are you most creative?
During moments of complete solitude like when I’m in the shower, on the plane, or on a long hike. Being without my phone, computer or other distractions is when my mind feels the most clear and is able to fall down the rabbit hole of creativity.
A white v-neck tee, a broken in pair of jeans and of course, a pair of Freda Salvador shoes. They’re the three things that dominate my closet!
What are five everyday items you cannot live without?
a pen and paper
even the shortest walk outdoors
